3 Addison Wyant, aged 55 years, four months and 5 days who lived in East Franklin Township about one mile from Tarrtown, died suddenly this morning. He had not been in good health since last December. This morning he arose as usual, kindled a fire and walked over to a cot lay down and died in a few moments. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Henry E. Zeigler and Mrs. Ollie A. Zeigler, East Franklin Township; Mrs. Allen McCollum and Daniel J. Wyant, of New Castle; Mrs. George McNutt of Adrian; and Ollie, Reynolds B., Christina L. and Nellie F. Wyant, all at home. Also eight grandchildren, six brothers and one sister survive him. The funeral cortege will leave the home Wednesday morning at 9:30 and services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran church, Montgomeryville, at 10 o'clock. The interment will follow the services.

J. K. Wyant of North Bluff Street, Butler has received word of the death of his brother, A.B. Wyant of Kittanning, who died suddenly Monday morning. Mr. Wyant was 54 years of age and a retired farmer. He was a member of the Lutheran church. He is survived by his widow, six children, five brothers and one sister.

Addison Bartholomew Wyant, aged 55 years 4 months and 5 days, died at his home in East Franklin Township, Monday, May 1, 1916, the deceased leaves a wife. Mr. Wyant, a farmer, was born December 26, 1860 in Pennsylvania the son of Bartholomew & Christina (Wolfe) Wyant, he was a farmer by trade. Funeral arrangements were made by Snyder of Cowansville and burial was made May 3, 1916 in St. Marks, Lutheran Church cemetery. Information was provided in this document by his son Ollie Wyant of Kittanning.

8 George A. McNutt, died at his residence at 422 Reynolds Avenue Monday, August 22, 1938, at 6:40 a.m. after a lingering illness. He is survived by his wife, Cathryn Wyant McNutt; one son, Stewart, of Beaver, Pa.; four daughters, Mrs. Howard Summers, Kittanning, R.D. 3; Betty, Lenora and Joanne, at home; two brothers, Walter McNutt, West Kittanning, and Edward McNutt, of Kittanning; four sisters, Mrs. W.J. Santrock, Kittanning; Mrs. Effie Thomas, Stubenville, Ohio; Miss Cecilia McNutt, Pittsburgh; Mrs. S.J. Andrews, Aliquippa, and two grandchildren. Funeral services in charge of Dr. George N. Lauffer, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church of Kittanning, will be held at Adrian Wednesday, August 24, at 2 p.m. (EST). Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

9 Ida E. Fulton, 99, Homer City died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Beacon Ridge. She was the daughter of the late Thomas and Maude (Eckman) Shirey and was born October 13, 1918 in Chloe, Pennsylvania

Ida loved to crochet and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Fulton, Indiana; two grandsons, James C. Fulton and wife Dawn, Marion Center and Willard L. Fulton III and wife Kimberly, Homer City. She is also survived by five great grandsons, Willard L. Fulton IV and wife Candice, Indiana, Kyle A. Fulton, Cranberry Township, Joshua E. Fulton and wife Emily, Indiana, James L. Fulton, Altoona and Matthew R. Fulton and wife BreAnna, Clymer; and three great great granddaughters, Berlynn Fulton, Indiana, Audan Fulton, Clymer and Camille O’Brien, Indiana.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Fulton Sr. and her son, Willard Fulton Jr.

Friends will be received Wednesday, from 10AM until time of service at noon at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City with R.A. Wallace, officiating. Interment to follow in St. Johns Cemetery, Sagamore, Pennsylvania.

10 Injuries From A Fall From Step-Ladder Prove Fatal

The injuries received in a fall from a step ladder in her home recently resulted in the death of Mrs. Mary Frances Wyant, widow of Addison Wyant, at her home near Montgomeryville, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Deceased was aged 59 years, 4 months and 3 days. She had been in a helpless condition ever since the accident and her condition puzzled physicians and specialists. The following children survive; Mrs. Henry Zeigler and Mrs. Ollie Zeigler, Montgomeryville; Mrs. Alex McCollum, New Castle,; Mrs. Clarence Bowser, Montgomeryville, Nellie, at home; Daniel, at home; Reynolds, New Kensington. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and four sisters and one brother; Mrs. Peter Fair, and Mrs. Margaret Lasher, Montgomeryville; Mrs. Howard Lytle, Apollo; Mrs. Harvey Wyant, Kittanning; Amos Lasher, Kittanning. Funeral services will be conducted at the late residence Saturday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment in St. Mark's Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Frances Wyant, aged, 59 years, 4 months and 3 days, of East Franklin Township, died June 19, 1924 at 1:30 p.m. in her home. Mrs. Wyant was a home maker and widower, born February 16, 1865, the daughter of Daniel Lasher & Catharine Frick. Funeral arrangements were made by Clarence R. Snyder of Cowansville and burial was made Saturday, June 24, 1924 in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery, Adrian. Information provided by her daughter Mrs. Harry Zeigler.

Willard Lee Fulton Jr., 67, of Rural Valley RD1, Cowanshannock Township died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005 at his residence.
He was born Sept. 8, 1937 in Dayton to Willard Lee Sr. and Ida (Shirey) Fulton.
Mr. Fulton worked for PPG Industries in Barberton, Ohio for seven years as a technician and also worked at Specialty Tires of America for 28 years as a maintenance supervisor and a corporate buyer before retiring in 1999.
He was a veteran serving in Ft. Jackson, S.C. and Baumholder, Germany.
He graduated from Shannock Valley High School in 1955.
He enjoyed fishing, hunt-ing, gardening and, most of all, he loved spending time with his family and dogs.
Survivors include his wife, Mary (Schrecengost) Fulton whom he married Dec. 27, 1958; two sons, James Fulton and wife Dawn of Marion Center and Willard L. Fulton III and wife Kim of Shelocta; five grandsons, Willard Ful-ton IV of Shelocta, Joshua Fulton of Shelocta, Matthew Fulton of Marion Center, Kyle Fulton of Shelocta and James Fulton of Marion Center; and his mother of Sagamore.
He was preceded in death by his father, who died Jan. 8, 1994.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., 724 Main St., Rural Valley where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Micah McMillen officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery in Sagamore.
